The prosecution asks that the defense be precluded from asking #StormyDaniels whether she was arrested. Justice #Merchan agrees w/the prosecutors, saying that “anybody can be arrested” & that it “doesn’t prove anything.”
The people call Stormy Daniels back to the stand
#Trump atty #Necheles begins questioning by saying that in 2011, Daniels denied having had sex w/Trump.
Prosecutors are using Westerhout to put into evidence a map of the first floor of the #WestWing of the White House. She's asked to identify the Oval Office.
This could become relevant when #MichaelCohen testifies. He is expected to say he met w/ #Trump in the #OvalOffice to discuss the arrangements that had been made to repay him for the #HushMoney sent to #StormyDaniels.
Tonight, maybe in about three and a half hours, we will watch the final episode of #WestWing. My father has watched it about a hundred times and probably knows it by heart.
With the disclaimer that I love #WestWing with all my heart, I am obligated by forces beyond my control to point out that Beowulf was written in Old English, not Middle English. (Season Three, episode 18)
I am compelled to point out that in the season three #WestWing Thanksgiving episode, Mollie Orshansky is described as a Polish-born immigrant, whereas in reality she was born in New York to a #Jewish refugee family that escaped Ukraine. So now you know.
Just finished watching all 7 seasons of #thewestwing and I am convinced it is the best episodic television ever created. Now I don’t know what to watch. What’s next? #westwing
Preview before tonight’s #Maddow live interview, read Robert Draper article:
#CassidyHutchinson, now 26, dropped out of sight last year after she testified in damning detail in a nationally televised cmte hearing about Trump’s actions during & after… #Jan6, 2021. Facing blistering #SocialMedia attacks from #Trump & #threats from his supporters, she retreated from DC & cut off contacts w/her fmr WH world.
Some 15 mos later, (#CassidyHutchinson), the onetime staff member in #Trump’s #WestWing is heading back into the maelstrom w/the publication of “#Enough,” a memoir about her time as a top aide to #MarkMeadows, Trump’s last chief of staff. On a recent Sun morning, she spoke in the kitchen of her Washington high-rise w/the blinds to her living room window open, a recent development in her #reclusive life.
There are some fun hidden details in Fringe. For instance, in the parallel universe of the series, when the Observers come out of the movie theatre after having watched Back to the Future, Eric Stoltz is listed as the main actor (episode 2x15).
Stoltz was in fact initially cast as Marty McFly, and they recorded several scenes with him before he was replaced by Michael J. Fox. Apparently, that didn't happen in the parallel universe 😁
@rayckeith Just spotted the poster. It's in Fringe season 2, episode 21, and it announces season 11 of the West Wing. The West Wing ran for 7 seasons. 😊
