Make light of #asstodon all you like--and you should--but I just boosted my paper about it because people are once again talking about how there's not a lot of traction for posting/seeing activism here
Some people like the "cooler" engagement here, and there are good things about it ofc.
But said lack of traction continues to inhibit using this space for certain kinds of info-sharing that is important.
Not least with local papers being in a death spiral
