If you’re able, get out and clear a storm drain or two esp. where it impacts people walking, rolling, or riding transit.

Cleared this lake from the transit lane and sidewalk near SW 35th & Avalon.

I beat the rain! shots of two beds. Weeded and dug them out, installed edging, and mulched around my gladiolus, autumn joy sedum and stargazer lilies. Hours of work but hopefully this means I won't have to start from zero every year now.

I wanted to plant my sweet alyssum and black beauty poppies in the larger bed today too, but I ran out of energy and it started sprinkling.

Haven't touched my raised beds yet, a ton yet to do, but seeing a difference feels good!

The same area, nicely mulched and with edging installed, with some young sedum and lily plants.
Another overgrown area, about 2x6 feet. Again, there might be intentional plants in there, who can say?
The larger area nicely mulched with spears of gladiolus showing through.
