Just investigating unusual traffic hitting our website, and discovered there is this US based ISP that still appears to sell 56k Dial Up internet

https://www.ee.net/dialup.php

From their about page:

“eNet Inc. was founded in 1994 to offer Internet access to the Columbus Ohio area.”

It looks like nothing at all has changed for them since 🤣

Mildly bitter sketch Friday. The more stylized the graphic, the less likely a highly opinionated project like any of the "foss creative suite" is open to change. /me slightly disappointed about all the bland identities.

Inkscape app icon sketch.
Mypaint app icon sketch. Not the streamlined fast little app I once admired.

Might be a good opportunity to share my earliest attempts at Wilber. Goes right to the stone age of my involvement with Free software. 1998?1999?

Anyone else see "AI" and just switch off?

If I'm looking for some new software or a SaaS, or I open an article and it mentions AI, I immediately go back or close the tab. I'm just so fed up of it appearing in everything.

I get it has a use (I wouldn't even say it's a purpose) but it seems some products have gone hard on it and I'm just bored of hearing about it now.

Book purge. See the MS-DOS 5.0 one at the top? That was my first computer. I came late to the game in our family. My sister was already teaching Comp Sci when I got this. State of the art. 386. It cost thousands of $$. I got it running and then c:\ blinked at me for weeks until I figured out how to read the manual. I just flipped through the pages again. OMG it's just as obtuse today as it was then! This is why I eventually switched to
