A perfect day for exploring - sunny and extremely humid. Look at this luxury scyscraper for soil life! My tip: If you see old tree stumps like this, take a magnifying glass with you! Without, I watched a tiny cobweb studded with diamonds and a rodent's borehole.

A macro shows a hole made by a rodent.
Between the fearn-like moss anither hole with parts of a pretty tiny cobweb. The black rotten wood shows that one day the stump will be soil.

This movie is a wild ride. I almost stopped watching it because the tone was so... weird... but I'm glad I gave it a chance because it completely knows what it's doing and when it goes all in, it goes HARD. Super fun and has some truly creepy scenes. Recommended!!

Yesterday I made some more web-fine experiments with raw silk fibres and . I use cocoon strippings from pure mulberry silk which still contain a lot of : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sericin It's one of the proteins the silkworms use to "glue" their cocoons. You can imitate the process of connecting the fibres with heat. @fibrearts
