Here’s my concept of a surrealist modern city. The “surrealism” is in the way that buildings stack on top of each other, the way architecture plunges into the ocean area. It is also in the tipsy and melted shape of things.
My perspective is not correct, it’s skewed to one side because of the way my hand draws. I need to fix this, but I’ll probably just draw a new city. I want to amp up the surrealism even more. This art movement is all about freedom, imho.
A sliding scale of shields: Imperial Dragonscale shield set concept, by Vitaly Muzyka.
This set of shields might not protect you from bad puns, but the formidable and rare set includes a size for every player, from a buckler for parrying to a tower shield to make you a moving fortress.
Are you a concept artist, or know someone who is? Please get in touch! I'm looking to commission someone to do some concept art (digital or physical) for a fantasy project.
I've tried scouring the web for artists, but I have had little luck.
The Invincible (Nov. 6): Yasna, art by Wojciech Ostrycharz
Tomorrow I'll be able to tell you what I think of this game (which I finished a few days ago) based on the 1964 novel by Stanislaw Lem, and about which I've posted a lot since it was announced three years ago. #scifi#game#theinvincible#conceptart
