#Disinformation is usually no laughing matter, but some fakes are so bizarre and far out, they will most certainly make you chuckle. Like the alleged Swedish Sex Championship – or the #Deepfake Doc telling you how to cure diabetes with chia seeds.

The dystopian world of an entirely AI-generated newsroom means that privileged men can continue to own and control everything but still give the appearance of diversity.
"News anchors" can be of all ages and backgrounds, and there can be 50% women presenting. The men in control can of course also give each woman exactly "the personality they want" and decide what they wear.
The men will definitely be applauded for their diversity efforts.
When I say in my talks that much of this forward motion is bringing us back in time, this is the type of "innovation" I am referring to.
Actually, this is a case in point for prohibiting AI generated anchor(wo)men, etc.
We greatly rely on the looks of a person when evaluating a piece of information.
If this information is utterly misleading, as in the case of AI persons this constitutes, in my view, a new kind of #DeepFake.
Better to go back to the voice-only radio 📻 and audio podcasts, then. (Though that doesn't eliminate racial and gender bias completely either.)

Das Zentrum für politische Schönheit sorgt aktuell mit einem Deepfake-Video für Aufsehen. Darin kündigt der gefakte Olaf Scholz an, die AfD verbieten zu wollen.
Darf #Satire alles? Darf politischer #Aktivismus alles? Ist ein #DeepFake ein akzeptables Mittel, wenn es einem guten Zweck dient?
Das Zentrum für #PolitischeSchönheit verwendet für seine Kampagne zum #AfDVerbot ein KI-bearbeitetes Video mit Bundeskanzler #Scholz, das nicht als Fake gekennzeichnet ist. In meinen Augen ein äußerst problematisches Vorgehen, das der Sache vielleicht eher schadet als nützt.
Ich glaube, dieses #DeepFake-Video vom "Zentrum für politische Schönheit" hat eine Büchse der Pandora geöffnet. Wenn die das für ihre Zwecke nutzen, dann werden das auch andere tun. Bisher war das immer noch verpönt. Dieses ARD-Video war noch AFAIK von Unbekannten in Umlauf gebracht worden. Jetzt werden es alle für alles machen und immer sagen: "Ja, bei uns ist es auch nur Kunst oder Satire. Wir wollen damit nur auf etwas aufmerksam machen und zuspitzen."

Teen girls are being targeted with deepfake pornography created using technology such as AI. Perpetrators are putting pictures of a victim's face onto an image or a video of a naked person. The FBI have warned that these images are being used for harassment and sextortion of young people and sadly there are limited ways to seek accountability.
