First photo shows the docks that I go to for salmon & halibut fishing trips. I saw one of the guys I went fishing with before, taking off in his boat, shortly after we got there. Second photo is one of the Sooke docks that I crab from when I'm out that way.
This reflection was part of a series I produced a few years ago. This is HMCS Acadia, which was docked by the Maritime Museum in Halifax harbour. Built in 1913, she survived the Halifax explosion of 1917. https://hmhps.ca/sites/hmcs-acadia

Early morning at the historic landmark Bridge Street Pier on beautiful Anna Maria Island finds a peaceful beginning to the day as the sun comes up. Love being out and about at this time of the day before the daily rush begins.
