Have to admit this second try of Spiced Coke Zerohas me liking it. First time it tasted like cough syrup to me. I’m assuming it is a Dune 2 tie in but maybe not. #Coke #Dune2

I think it's important to remember just how awesome the EU box art for the Dune 2 game was.

"Dune 2" has had a bigger-than-expected opening weekend, taking in $82.5 million in North America and $182.5 million globally in its first weekend of release. Variety's Rebecca Rubin takes a look at the reasons it's done so well, including a delayed release due to the actors' strike, and the power of Imax.

Dune Part 2: I wouldn't mind watching an extended cut. The sound design was extremely immersive, people were basically vibrating and pressed into their seats during some scenes. Hans Zimmer's soundtrack is bombastic and a masterpiece on it's own. You can check it out here:

At the movie theater to watch . Aghast concessions does not offer gummy worms. What a lost collaboration opportunity.

The “Dune 2” popcorn bucket has become such an internet sensation that director Denis Villeneuve and actor Timothée Chalamet have fielded a series of questions on the press tour. The promotional bucket looks — to some, at least — weird or worse. That didn’t stop The Ringer’s Austin Gayle from writing about the many things one can do with the cursed sandworm receptacle. https://flip.it/pdfBsb

Nothing is perfect but this sequel is almost there. : Part Two is full of action, story and visually stunning. This one is anything but boring.

“Dune Part 2 is available to buy for $30.”

“Usury!”

“If we went to see it in the theater, you’re talking travel, parking, popcorn, drinks, tickets, and COVID tests. That’s at least $40.”

smurthys,
@smurthys@hachyderm.io avatar

I'd watch Dune 2 at a drive-in on a day they have $5 tickets: 10 bucks for 2 tickets, free parking, own drinks and snacks, no/low COVID risk.

Plus I won't feel too bad if the movie is just meh, which I expect it to be.
