Why is Harkonnen society (or whatever it's called) so shitty? Who would want to live in such a disgusting and brutal community... what is the point. It's like every dystopia combined, completely revolting and miserable. How did it become that way and how could it possibly be stable...
I am so glad I made time to watch this in the cinema. I kept dragging my feet to do so for some reason. Probably the best sci fi I have ever seen in a long long long time. Even better than #Dune part 1.
I love how each "culture" has such a distinctive look and feel.

Dune Part Two is a strong and engaging science fiction epic. It’s a good thing Netflix recently added Dune: Part One to their library (at least in my region) so that I could rewatch it before seeing Part Two in the cinema! 🤩
I watched Dune: Part Two earlier and there’s one word to describe it: EPIC! 🤩
I’ve only read the first novel and that was so long ago that I barely remember the plot (only bits, like Jessica and Paul escaping to and winning over the Fremen and becoming a messianic figure) and I haven’t seen any of the other screen adaptations so seeing this adaptation by one of my favorite directors was just freaking awesome.

So I thought it would be fitting to share a painting I made for the Dune RPG a few years back, a Bene Gesserit trainee going through a Gom Jabbar Trial.
This was the biggest assignment I received at the time, creating a major promo piece for the RPG that was even featured on Kotaku. Hope to work on the Dune IP Again someday.
