Da har element kommet ut med en alternativ app som heter element x. Den har en annen layout og er i beta-utgave. Fokuset på denne appen er å være super responsiv. Virker veldig bra, og har boble-chat.
Bloble-chat og layouten som er der, er dét jeg har slått på i instillingene for vanlig element for tiden. Så det er ganske så sikkert at element x blir den nye matrix appen min.

This is the worst thread I've honestly seen in a lot of time. The person behind Element's Mastodon account wasn't even rude, at all.
Meanwhile people in the thread are telling them to f### off just because they are providing encrypted communications to governments and aren't afraid to make it clear.

Nå er element x ute av beta!!! Dette er vist starten på det som skal bli MATRIX 2.0, og jeg er spent. For om element x er representabelt for hva som kommer, så er jeg med! 🤯
For å forklare! Element x appen løser mange av problemene den originale appen er kjent for å ha. Den har nå super rask synkronisering og super responsiv app.

The amount of resources a Matrix home server consumes is pretty insane too.
I also have this annoying bug / behavior with any Matrix client (#Element iOS and desktop, #fluffychat ) where the chat view randomly jumps around while you’re reading a backlog. It kinda sucks.
#Element emailing to tell us they're withdrawing customer cloud hosting, so I guess I'll be looking for alternatives for a six-person family chat service
It's embarassing how #element is the only program that doesn't respect macos's #dnd mode and just blasts sounds. And it has been doing that FOR SIX YEARS
Today I tried to chat with a friend via #matrix
He sent me his matrix address.
15 mins later, I couldn't figure out how to add him (#Element client).
Tried built-in search, sent invite link, created a new 'room'. Nothing.
Sigh. We just wanted to move away from WhatsApp.
In the past, I've used Matrix/element, and I can't say how many times better it worked. About 1.5 years ago, we decided migrate to MS 365 and I find it a pita.
Does anybody have a clue about the status of Teams<->Matrix integration? I remember, there were numerous attempts to do this using a bridge/puppet, but at least AFAIK that didn't work too well.
What is the status of this? Any insights appreciated 😎
I'll forever die on the hill that #Matrix and especially #Element must support stickers and sticker packs in a first class manner to succeed in the mainstream.
