BC Wildfire Service: Under current & forecasted conditions, fire activity is expected to increase across northeast BC. A dry cold front is expected to cross the Fort Nelson zone mid-afternoon Friday. Wind gusts may exceed 70kph & shift direction rapidly.
NWS Los Angeles: "This week, weak Santa Ana winds and dry air will keep elevated fire weather conditions over the region. Offshore winds will be ongoing starting from the northeast, shifting east-southeast by Friday. These Santa Ana winds will be generally sub-advisory levels, with gusts of 25 to 40 mph and isolated 50 mph gusts focused on the mountains and foothills.
