11pm. Those who don't sleep. And the cat. Always close to midnight, at least mentally. The silence from within these walls, the sound of sleeping rooms, the echo of dreams just started, dreams already fading into each other. The sound of sand in an imaginary hourglass. (Turning another page. Leaving a new date on the empty one, unsure whether the old one ended in any meaningful state. And then, closing the book for now. A few hours before dawn.)
I have to confess I haven’t been following the debates and run up to the #Australia#IndigenousVoiceReferendum enough; i know a few indigenous Australian people themselves were against it, but the majority voted YES and the #No result is extremely sad and gut wrenching. #SettlerColonialism continues to be alive and well, and very ugly, in so many parts of the world
Ob’s den Menschen auf der Flucht wohl was ausmacht ob sie von einem #noAFDler einem #noCDUler einem #noSPDler oder einem #no Grüne grünen zum Ertrinken verdammt wird?
majority of their advertising much like television is unbearable, I don't even have an antenna or digital tv channel option on my tv, I torrent and select my media...
Sea FM australia radio and many others similar are horrendous dribble for capitalists and their bootlickers.
I'm seeing more and more people, especially non-artists, saying things like 'My AI art skills are really improving,' as if AI is a discipline such as drawing, painting or whatever.
Like people in 1981 who pricked the cellophane on their frozen ready-meals, popped them in the microwave and said 'My cooking skills are really improving. Maybe I'm a chef now.'
If end-stage capitalism has a motto, it's this: "Stop hitting yourself." The great failure of "voting with your wallet" is that you're casting ballots in a one party system (The Capitalism Party), and the people with the thickest wallets get the most votes.

As we face yet another Govt shutdown I reflect on these absurdities. In the United States:
•1 Senator can block all military confirmations—but it takes 60 Senators to overrule him
•1 Speaker can shut down the entire government—but it takes 218 House Reps to overrule him
•1 bought SCOTUS Justice can strip away rights for hundreds of millions of people—and it's virtually impossible to remove him
This is not a functioning democracy. It is GOP exploitation. Vote GOP Out. Reform our government.
"Yesterday, when addressing his #Greenbeltscandal, Premier Ford said everything is a thousand times better in Ontario, in every single ministry, since he took office in 2018."
"Has your healthcare, education, housing, cost of living, or quality of life improved after 5 years of #DougFord?"
@gemelliz@tylerwatt90
UGH #NO! When was the last time #DougFord waited 8 hours in the emergency room of a hospital?
He should try it sometime. No food available! No water except from washroom taps.
#please don't #forget to add me to one of your #lists. I'll probably want to #reach out to you again sometime. You need to keep #lists to be able to #register#posts of your #favorites. I'm #writing this for those who are used to their #feed filling itself. That's not the case here and for me that's a good thing. The feed doesn't have to be overwhelmed with #nonsense that some #algorithm assumes you care about.

Hulu's latest gimmicky home invasion movie can't decide what it wants to be, making it a drag.
