Yesterday was chopping peppers from the garden to freeze in freezer bags for winter use. Today was pickling cucumbers from the garden.

As we worked in the kitchen, the vibrant blooms the cyclamen in the kitchen window are still giving us made the work cheerier.

For reasons unbeknownst to us, one quart jar of pickles cracked in the canning pot.

Alors ça c'est bon. C'est des fleurettes de chou fleur vinaigrées dans le bocal, en rouge c'est des morceaux de piments doux. Conservées dans de l'huile.
Tu fais bouillir 1 part de vinaigre blanc pour 2 parts d'eau, avec du sel.
Tu blanchis 2 ou 3 mn tes fleurettes de chou-fleur.
Tu égouttes, tu laisses refroidir.
Tu mets dans un pot avec ail, piment, gingembre, persil, ce que tu veux.
Tu couvres d'huile et au frigo.
Tu dégustes quant tu veux
