The Leidenfrost effect is the phenomenon whereby a liquid, in near contact with a mass significantly hotter than the liquid's boiling point, produces an insulating vapor layer which keeps the liquid from boiling rapidly.
This periodic table, by Michael Diyah, allows to control and see the variation between the physical properties of each element. Play with it, your students will love it!!
