It’s Tummy Tuesday and my tummy is cute and one of my favourite things about my body. I love being soft. I grew up hating my body for being the wrong size, wrong gender, wrong everything. And you know what? Sometimes you can’t “self-love” that shit out of your head. Sometimes, things don’t feel right. Trans people know this all too well. But it has also been a thing for me with my size. I spent most of my life very thin, and no matter what I did, I could not find a way to love my body, and the reason for that as it turns out, is because that’s not where I was meant to be. This is. The Florida GOP has given the state the power to kidnap trans children. If kids are "at risk" of receiving gender-affirming care, the state can seize them. At this rate, trans re-education camps hardly seem off the table.
