I like how they tell us to conserve water at every turn. All but shaming anyone who doesn’t stand in the ice cold water before hot reaches the shower head…. And then O&G and datacenters can just burns all the water they want pumping it deep underground or dumping it while nestle gets to sell it back to us without even paying for it. What a system.

Thinking of absolutely apalling “detours” in the non existent work being done at NDHQ on Laurier bridge and closing the entire sidewalk plus bike lane is going to get someone killed. They’re forcing people into the road for nothing. A real city would close the lane to preserve the bike lane and pedestrian access.

    @grivettcarnac I love when exurbanites come downtown and get tickets… it’s so rare it makes the news. Like the time there was construction so they actually towed some people and people lost their minds. In other cities at rush hour your car is gone at 3:01pm.

    Remember a couple years ago how city council voted to spend a quarter billion dollars on widening 4km of strandherd for no reason? That was more than the whole ward paid in taxes for the year so every streetlight. Every bus. Every plow was paid for by wards who didn’t get what they need so barhaven and riverside shouth residents could sit in traffic of their own making.

    • an assigned cubicle?
    • a locker to put their personal items?
    • two monitors when needed?
    • on-site keyboards and mice?

    @stephanie work keyboards so bad I bought one. Hauling an entire cubicle to and from the office where I have to wear noise cancelling headphones. Maybe the idiots in charge should have their offices taken away
