Took the dog outside, as one does ... no this isn't going where you think it is

She actually did everything she was supposed to do but was struggling on coming back inside the house.

In the next yard over there was a cat chasing a butterfly and we just sat there watching it.

It was very cute and wholesome so if you needed that you're welcome.

Dad felt the need to also do the yard randomly.

I thought it looked fine but apparently the One Who Is In Charge (the dog) does not like the grass this high and we need to fix it.

This after randomly cleaning the sofa...

If they want to do spring (is it spring?) cleaning they can but leave me out of it 😜

My husband and I are both left-handed.

There are approximately 708 million left-handers in the world.

Over 9% of people are left-handed.

Apparently these numbers do not meet the threshold for inclusion in product design.

My former Mr. Coffee coffeemaker had ambidextrous functionality. The flap over the water reservoir opened to the back, allowing someone to pour water easily from either side.

My new Mr. Coffee coffeemaker includes a design change. The flap over the water reservoir opens to the left, making it almost impossible for me pour water into it.

I just bought a new electric water kettle. The first time I filled it with water, I guessed at the fill limit because I saw no markings inside.

Then I read the instruction manual that referenced the maximum fill line. What? Turns out, I can only see the fill line markings if I fill the kettle while holding it in my right hand. 🤦‍♀️

If you are a product designer, you commit design malpractice if you fail to acknowledge the existence of left-handers.

End rant.

After I took the copilot for a ride one of the neighborhood cats waited for her to get out of the car.

For a good long while they stared each other down coming to about 6 feet from each other. After that it started to rain and so the doggo came into the house with me but I think she's going to be friends with this cat.

Recently found out that my great grandmother's dining room set is available for me to have...

Which means the dining room set I currently have needs to be sold.

It is a very good dining room set that was acquired when the original owner wanted to spite his ex-wife and sold it to us for cheap so she couldn't have it.

Also, Reagan and posse could have possibly eaten at this table because it came from a swanky hotel in SF.

Please help me get rid of this table.

Mom did a lot of walking, a lot more than I thought we were going to do, and she did really great.

We just have to work on endurance. But considering that her surgery was two months ago this ain't bad.
