@popcornreel The sense of entitlement, the utter disregard for another Human Being, the callousness because of an ego wound that demanded a better grade than he had earned… ultimately, he is a misogynistic shitstain whose family needs to look at what they raised. How much of this was also racist, I wonder? Her life meant nothing, and he was proud of his crime (bragging to others). So deeply disturbing that they walk among us.

I believe in a right to a good education. From that perspective, public education should be funded to the highest standard throughout the system. Otherwise, you are denying children a basic right.

Kids need a good education to be healthy and successful in life. It’s pretty pro-life, really.

@TonyStark The more we invest in public education, the smarter, more creative society becomes, and the better off we all are for it. Those who want to underfund or eliminate public education, would gladly return us to the Dark Ages, where only the very wealthy had privilege and they could dance on the backs of starving masses, whose only dream in life was to be able to live like them.

    @Teri_Kanefield I don’t know if he didn’t understand it or if he felt he was untouchable by birthright. He has had no serious consequences in his lifetime that he couldn’t buy his way out of. He expects to pay a fine on all of this and walk away to do it again, just like he did with E Carroll. He lost, it cost, but he did it again immediately because it’s only money and suckers donate abundantly to his attitude.

    Book better, more truthful panelists, MSNBC. Having that Republican woman, Maura Gillespie on to say that DeSantis is suffering from the same unpopularity as HRC is utterly disingenuous. She clearly was more popular. To ignore the fact that she got millions more votes and to base the notion that she was unpopular on the fact that the EC is a bizarre relic that appeases the losers of the civil war and tosses popular vote onto the fires of racist appeasement, makes me lose respect for the show.

    The battle for Gresham has begun. I hear reports from all directions now. My men and I are outnumbered and outgunned. Lo, though the battle be fierce, we trust in our training and shall prevail.

    I only wish we had popcorn. It wouldn't reveal our position. No one would notice the popping in this cacophony.

    We all wonder where the local gendarme might be. We thought certainly they'd assist us. Perhaps they met a bitter fate.

    It's so annoying (and reportedly, adorable to some) when you're really busy, and a cat is firmly decided on getting some lap time, and won't take no for an answer. You can push them off a dozen times and they'll bounce right back like a bad penny.

    @shoq The only way to get a persistent cat off of your lap is to have a large dog, and a large dog bed nearby. The cat will occupy that large dog bed, and leave the dog with a wistful look in their eye as they try to curl up on a hand towel from the laundry basket, woefully dragged to the floor. Now you know.

    My 96 YO mom had a carcinoma sliced out of her forehead yesterday. They had to slice all the way down to her scull. They felt they got it all, but recovery will be a while. They insist on follow-up visits every 2 weeks for 6 months (an hour ride each way).

    @shoq They did it with the tea party as well. 3 CNN busses followed them to every 20 min stop where three placard holders and one megaphone got out, made a remark and left. But with the constant close ups of dangle bags, tri corner hats, no one knew how small that group really was and CNN never questioned how they were funded. After 18 mos of this dedicated ‘reporting’, their monster was made real.
