We had frost last night, luckily it was in the forecast so we covered all the frost-sensitive crops and everything came through just fine! We've had frost on 50% of the Summer Solstices we've had here. Saskatchewan, man.

The only feeling I have about starship is dread.

They want to use that to launch batches of HUNDREDS of Starlinks at once. And guess where all those Starlinks will end up? The pieces that don't make it to the ground will end up in our upper atmosphere, screwing up the stratosphere, the ozone layer, who knows what else because SpaceX isn't required to do any environmental assessments of this.

I remember when TFG held his first cabinet meeting. He had no idea what a cabinet meeting was. He thought he was on his tv show again. It was solely a round robin of him being praised, each trying to outdo the sycophant that preceded them. Now, all he has is Printer Lady, following him around, handing him hard copy of praises. He is by far the most fragile male ever seen on screen.

With headlines about giant venomous flying spiders, I expected monsters the size of bulldogs with huge sharp fangs dripping green venom, eight red-rimmed eyes, and wings. Fuckin' wings!

Turns out they're slightly bigger than normal, venom's harmless, they don't have wings and don't "fly."

By "crazy" I mean speculation.

If we respond (click) all are encouraging craziness.

People click, and the people spreading crazy get rich and they have an inventive to continue.

Traditional news publishers learn that there is $$ in spreading crazy.

In the past, people saw speculation, felt worried and asked me how things work.

We are then part of the cycle.

@shoq Have you tried searching the sites in England or Wales specifically? I have found their detailed instructions on everything from tune-ups to small appliance repairs, very detailed with very good camera work. Different YTs but just seems they are very much more detail oriented.

@shoq @RaePatterson It’s the constant that runs through them all: The smart ones (rare but they exist) and the incredibly stupid, dull witted ones. They get their orders from a single source conservative tank, and they repeat it, mindlessly, like a hammer to the social psyche. Media monopolies need to divest if we are to begin to get free of the oppressive chronic messaging. Break up monopolies, we can begin to find a healthy balance. This process took decades. It will take decades to undo.
