Oh boy - midsummer, with sun and warmth and wildflowers on the estuary’s water meadows. The yellow flowers are yellow flag irises - Iris pseudoacorus - and this is a smallish patch (let’s have a for the wildflowers).

@fkamiah17 @KateCelyn Nah, but decided to take an unforeseen trip to a foreign land on Saturday which has thrown the week out.

(Nothing too exciting. We’re going to Chester, shopping. Will be careful to leave before sunset just in case that old law about what happens to Welsh interlopers after dark isn’t just a myth.)

This little church has been decommissioned and sold; it’s being redeveloped as a home (it needed huge repairs - the roof nearly gave way - and there’s another in the village).
