A panel of three federal judges has struck down #Alabama's latest map of congressional election districts for not following a court order to comply with the landmark #VotingRightsAct.

In an order released Tuesday, the judges said they are "deeply troubled that the State enacted a map that the State readily admits does not provide the remedy we said federal law requires." #VotingRights

  1. Slept 8 solid hours followed by another 2 of dozing on-and-off. That was after about a week of getting only 4-6 hours of sleep/night for no obvious reason.

  2. Found a pint of seafood stew in the freezer = dinner!!

  3. I needed a mini cooler and was about to go to the store to buy one, when I saw one at a garage sale while walking my dog. It was as good as new. And for only $5! My happiness about this deal has been long lasting. I'm sure there's a lesson in here somewhere.

Labor Day reminder: If the min wage increased at the rate of inflation & productivity since 1960 it'd be $26 today—not $7.25. Meaning—billionaires & corps have stolen at least $19/hour from working Americans for 60 years.

I spoke with my doctor about "all the vaccines". He said if you're worried about their safety, don't, these are all tested to true measure and can be relied upon to deliver what is needed with the exceptions noted being darned close to documented cases. He said yes to: Covid and RSV, not in the same day if you've had any reaction to either. It's harder on you, not bad for you. He said the regular flu vaccine can be combined with any of the others. ALL should checkw/drs for individual dr advice
