I'm glad I have slowly moved away from Reddit, hope we get some sort of Fedi recap stuff in the future as is a really cool idea but glad we don't get forced to use Apps and stuff.

So how would they take PixelFed, Mastodon, Lemmy & Kbin / Mbin? They can only try add a feature and if the rest of the Fediverse doesn't like it, they won't add it to there own platforms,

So like I said, if people don't like what they add, we just won't add it. Why should we bend over backwards, also EEE is a Microsoft thing more than anything. It won't kill decentralisation it would just prove that companies like that are shit.

Yeah and I'm not going to stop using my instance I love it to much, Maybe I will boot up my own personal one if anything. Just glad more people will hopefully understand and can use the Fediverse

@wjmaggos From what I can see it seems to be a slow load, so they are slowly bringing a few people. I would guess it would be something they will slowly add in the next couple of days / weeks.

The Threads user of @mosseri is accessible, but no posts yet. They seem to post once per day so we should hopefully see the first Threads Fediverse post soon if they have done it right.

That's fair enough, I know that I want to see smaller communities to grow such as ones for certain games and creators. Making it into a place not only for Techy people is what the Fediverse needs to grow to wider audiences.

Yes Mbin fixed this, my instance runs a version of Mbin and I love it, sad we are missing a few things from Kbin but the quality is better in the end. I'll have to look at more Lemmy.world communities as that seems to be where most people end up

Yes if certain instances don't like Threads they can de-federate from it, and I'm sure a few will, Personally I think it should be down to user choice as the users on Threads aren't to bad it's the company that is.

@Zak It would make sense for him to be but I guess it might be easier to use accounts that are not so much public knowledge like @mosseri rather than the head of META themselves. Really hope if it goes well they will possibly even think about doing the same with there other platforms.
