At least 436 Palestinians, including 182 children, have been killed by Israeli air strikes and shelling in Gaza in the past 24 hours, a Health Ministry spokesman has said.

Ashraf al-Qudra said in a statement that most of the victims were killed in the southern Gaza Strip.
