@sinbad when I made “port” of my playdate demo to PC and noticed it is taking less CPU time than task manager… I also noticed that firefox.exe was taking about similar amount of CPU. I don’t use Firefox! Last time I consciously ran it was maybe a year ago.

Fallout the TV series was pretty damn good. I've played most of the series, my wife has played none. She thought the first two episodes were a bit "fan service" but liked the rest and said it held together well.

Is this the first video game adaptation that doesn't suck?!?!?!?

Most excellent: that sweet mass-inspection tool, with radiating pixel locations and integrated p4 update etc.

Most sad: that we are still mostly in “compare screenshots” land, just due to everything now it is many thousands of them. They are great! But also a huge maintenance effort.

quick and dirty "debug renderer" - dump .obj from test code and import it into blender. pic related: frustum culling.
(the frustum is asymmetric which is why it looks weird)

@nicebyte nice life hack :) Now that (since blender 4.1?) you can just drag & drop an obj file onto blender, it even saves a click or two.

@nicebyte since 4.1 it can do builtin formats (obj, usd, alembic), and I think I’m 4.2 it will be able to do addon formats too (gltf, fbx).
