I’ve said this before but apparently it hasn’t sunk in but if you say “Biden has lost my vote”, don’t expect anyone to listen to you or be surprised he’s not out gunning for it. The election is 6 months out. If there’s no way you’re voting for him, nobody fucking cares what you want.

You can enjoy likely a 7-2 or 8-1 conservative SCOTUS that will be grinding down our rights for the next generation or three. Enjoy that.

I'm watching old (past -10 years or so) PBS Frontline docs and retrospectively, I'd say that our nation would look a LOT different rn, had people been watching this stuff.
Many sourced by Pro-Publica and AP they are absolutely mind boggling when looking in perspective to today.

I don't watch tv, but I've been holed up for the past 4 days, recovering from a procedure.
I cannot stomach prime time tv. Even sitcoms are overbearing and just too unrealistic for my interests. I usually settle on PBS for any Nova, documentaries, or lighthearted antiques roadshow type stuff.
In between those, ive switched over to msnbc because I've enjoyed clips ive seen of Nicole Wallace, Rachel Maddow, and Lawrence O'Donnell.
Ive been pretty shocked at what I've been seeing...1/3

Should they reelect trvmp, I believe no one will cry in terror and despair more than 85-90% of those who enabled it.
When they realize what they've done they'll (of course), point fingers at the 'fake news' which failed to inform and warn them (*which is actually valid) until the realization that they were conned is no longer deniable.
I'll have no empathy for a single one of them. As they have long abandoned that emotion, in favor of pain being inflicted on who they believe are their lessers.

A 12 percent drop in the US murder rate is wild. And I say that as someone who has been spitting stats and rolling my eyes at people who say "crime has gotten so bad..."

It hasn't been "bad" by any real metric since the late 90s and even when it was "bad" if you're middle class (and not at risk of domestic violence*) you have zero things to worry about even in 1989.

*domestic violence improved for a few decades but then stalled. But, when people fret about crime this isn't what they mean.
