This is a good workaround to the changes to AutoPay coming July 25th:

“One workaround…is to set your AutoPay details to a bank or debit account, as required. Then, manually use the T-Mobile app every month to pre-pay your bill before the scheduled AutoPay transfer. It’s not ideal, but it’s an option. ”

I've spent the last two days working on scripts pulling instances, server outages, and fixing server domain joins/SSH/Sudo access. Fun to stretch all the muscles but my brain is fried! And it's still not even Friday!

I've been clinging to a futile hope that

(a) Mastodon would automatically start to feel natural to me; or

(b) A magical new alternative would appear; or

(c) Twitter would stop its death-spiral into fascism.

Since it's clear none of those are happening, I'm finally going to bite the bullet and leave the Hellsite and commit to posting only here.

@thomasrost I agree with all your points but it’s still easier and simpler than nearly anything else out there and the integration is so good that it’s worth it. One idea for folks who need to identify messages easier can turn on this feature to help identify messages in the unified mailbox: https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/change-email-settings-iph80dabb18b/ios. Or you can enable rules to mark messages in certain colors (a feature that will unfortunately not work in iOS).

@feynman For sure - I couldn't get the allegory of the cave out of my head. But it's really done well and with lots of fun twists and turns! In some ways, we are in the Silo. Stuck on Earth with no where to go! :blobcatshrug:
