@jake4480 Weird as mine is way easier, I don’t even have to enter my password with that verification thing (can’t remember the name or if others use it) Apple makes available.
I think some of these metal bands think they need to play faster and have more crazy stuff in their songs to make the songs good and that just simply isn't the case
@rasterweb if the call has caller id and I know the person or I am expecting the call I answer. Rarely do I answer an unidentified call. If I talk on the phone once a month I’d say that’s a lot, unless I have contractors working on my house.
I'm a huge 7SECONDS fan, especially the stuff they've done since 1999. I play their 1999 one and also their 2005 and 2014 ones a LOT. Their most recent one in 2014 was 'Leave a Light On' (below) and it's of course a damn masterpiece. It's been 10 years, it would be so cool to get another one from these guys.
@Alice@rasterweb weird, I toured with The Promise Ring a couple times when they opened for Jets to Brazil. Blake avoided most contact with the audience when not playing. He’s was a good guy, social media does weird shit to people.
Yeah, you're really gonna see which companies are just gonna allow the AI to scrape all their stuff now. I'm a copyleft/creative commons kinda guy. But if you have art that you don't want stolen, the answer is simple.
MAKE YOUR OWN WEBSITE and put your art there (edit: and use that Glaze type of stuff on your art that wrecks AI, just to be sure)! Neocities is SO easy to set up! Or your own domain and hosting via porkbun, GoDaddy (non-WordPress) - anything at all other than proprietary/walled stuff!
@jake4480 not sure that will stop the AI from crawling your site. You can poison your images with software which I can’t find right now. But if your site is public the AI can see it.
@jake4480 Macs/iPhones/iPads have been doing ML for years. Pretty sure Android has similar “neural”processors. Looks like Intel just announced them last year. Do you mean generative AI or LLMs?
I get the Beatles = $ but how much more do we need to know. What important information do we not have? And what detail can you get from a mainstream film? Let’s delve into other bands maybe. #TheBeatles#Biography#Film
The craziest part of forgetting my depression meds I take at night (it happens) is how much I feel their loss the next day. I can fully feel my stupid brain SCREAMING nonsense at me just like it has for 30+ years now when it's unmedicated. I'm not sure if I'll ever be used to it, but I can recognize it and understand it. And even just having a slight half-life of the remnants of the previous days' dose (or maybe all the experience with it) helps me better not latch onto the thoughts and they can just pass by easier. It's wild, and I hate it. But here we are 🤣 Thankful for the meds, though. Without them is hell.

Maggots: The Record is the fourth and the last studio album by American rock singer Wendy O. Williams and her band Plasmatics, released on February 18, 1987.
@historyofpunkrock a weird one for sure. Only six songs, well actually five, with the dialog between. Thrash Metal. Even though I like the W.O.W. albums this is a nice return to the more intense punk/thrash. Still unique musically.
I follow quite a few bands and labels on #Bandcamp and it astounds me how many albums some indie labels release, one seems weekly another bi-weekly. I have no idea how they do it, what they do with inventory or are they selling that much? #music#BuyMusic
I love when I am requested to come into the office and every meeting is held on Teams even though most everyone is in the same building. I also love I can sit there all day and no one in office talks to me. Now I am officially remote so not common. #RemoteWork#InOffice#MSTeams
I’m sure Paramore (the band) mean well by leaving a major label but becoming ambassadors of Record Store Day where major labels flood the market with pointless reissues. Making it difficult for indie bands and labels from pressing albums. #Paramore#MusicIndustry#RecordStoreDay
