Suche nach einer deutschsprachigen #Mastodon #Instanz mit guter Moderation betreffend jeglicher Feindlichkeiten. Wegen persönlicher Betroffenheit würde mich #Antisemitismus, #Transfeindlichkeit, #Ableismus besonders stören.
Fokus: Alltag, bzw. keiner. Gern mit Technik, Natur, Hunden, verträumten Menschen, und denen, deren Leben nicht so fadengerade verläuft.

So. I wrote an e-mail to the hasidic-liberal synagogue two weeks ago. They didn't answer so far.

They have no public phone number (anymore), but active social media accounts, which I could contact.
Should I wait? Or not?

This might have been easier two months ago, and I'm afraid something might happen and it will become much harder. I could also send them a membership application, since they offer this publicly. I think it's weird though.

@raf @shekinahcancook I’m more asking myself the question, which group to work with, when to stop collaboration and who to federate with. I had rather strict opinions about that so far. It doesn’t mean I stop speaking about climate change or so

Here in this city is actually the only leftist group with >100 members I know of that strongly stands against antisemitism AND transphobia.

I need to do something nice desperately, but my mind is occupied with so many really exhausting things like legionella in the new flat. Yes of course there are mandatory examinations, but the landlord doesn't really care so much.
I really need to sew, paint, write, get out of Dresden, take the dog for long walks ... but need to also move some furniture and do lots of paperwork.

@serge I've flicked through my recipe books a few times, stopping on kibbeh, but it's looks difficult to make. the cook in the video made some flat type of kibbeh, right? maybe that's easier.
might try once I got the kitchen all set up in the new place.

Told my therapist today, "I want you to tell me what to do!", smiling slightly, her returning that smile, and both of us knowing this will (1) not happen and (2) neither do I want that. It's subtle, but a great example how well we communicate.

I got Timir as a puppy from the shelter and had no clue. Now I have this really difficult breed as a first time dog owner and people feel obliged to tell me their opinions ever since.

No, not every breed can be trained the same. No, more sports is not the solution. And a ‚more confident attitude‘ (whatever that is) won’t solve everything.

But yes, I am overwhelmed sometimes. Yet not ready to give up. I grew so much with her and right now, I want to continue that.

Fabian Wolff wrote a feuilleton for a German liberal/centre newspaper from a Jewish-diasporan perspective for years. He has anti-Israel standpoints one could well call antisemitic, and now he admitted to not actually being Jewish 🤷‍♂️​

@datadivajf this has been a rumour since 2021 (see Jüdische Allgemeine: Der Kostümjude) … so he could have asked his mother then?! Also, who makes writing from a Jewish perspective their livelihood without ever having been involved in Jewish culture, even if there is ancestry? It makes no sense to me.
