Hey All, just wondering if any of you have had experience with this:

My husband was feeling a little under the weather and took 4 Covid tests. The first one was negative, the second had a very faint line, and the second two were negative. I took two also, both of which were negative. I'm not really sure what to make of it. He works from home and everyone in the house has gotten every booster, obviously we are gonna stay put and test again tomorrow. Has anyone had this happen to them?

My new thing is buying cheap CDs from charity shops instead of streaming. I cancelled Spotify about 8 months ago. Spent about the same on CDs. Think I might build a Pi based auto CD ripper :)

I've still got a CD drive, I've been copying the WAV files directly, listening to them via a digital audio player

I think part of it is the overall 'user experience' of streaming. 'Discovery' is less fun, more of an abstract experience.

@caseynewton Fediverse is remarkably absent of gossip, ads, influencers, stunts and 'tea'. They barely even have viral posts. Genuinely miss that stuff from my time on Twitter, between news and popular convos.

It's so boring, it's as if National Public Radio and a Linux listserv had a love child.

But Fedi is genuinely hard to game with money or a fake controversy. When things seem a little off on a busy news day, I tend to hop over here.

I'd judge you but I've gone so wide on Twitter-esque platforms that I'm even signed up on 'Plurk'.

Feels are important for user experience, ultimately and often discounted.

As a person I'm most at home with Bsky chatter but structurally and ethically Fedi appeals to me.
