GPT-4V, OpenAI's image interpretation model, lacks proficiency in medical image interpretation and diagnosis. While it can identify and explain medical images, its diagnostic accuracy and clinical decision-making abilities are poor and could pose risks to patient safety. Therefore, caution should be exercised when using it for clinical decision-making. https://arxiv.org/abs/2403.12046 You've to be super stupid to believe LLM is a replacement for the trained doctor.
@nixCraft Small is Beautiful: Economics as if People Matter, by E. F. Schumacher, in which he informs us that we cannot pretend that foul is fair and fair is foul any longer. If he were around today, he'd decry (and I'd agree) that AI and 5G are inappropriate technologies because of their over-consumption of resources for dubious (in terms of augmenting the individual and collective experiences of being human) outcomes.
@nixCraft Latecomer, I joined as a user. 2007, when I had just bought a Dell laptop with Vista, and needed something that worked on a Dell laptop. I read Adrian Kingsley-Hughes' review of Ubuntu Edgy (which included step by step on how to dual-boot). Within a few months, I was giving Fiesty all the partitions. Still a user, not a coder
