Few months back Teams stopped supporting , and their nasty argument was "you can use our web app from your browser". Today I got this in my browser which is .

Unfortunately I have to use Microsoft Teams because my university and the audience all have contract with Microsoft 🙄

Well, my #warhammer40k game didn’t go well, as I tried out a dumb Dread Mob list with a Stompa! Sisters of Battle wrecked the poor thing with multi meltas, and did the same to my Gorkanaut in the same turn.

Losing half my army in one turn left me struggling, we finished the game on 53 to 75. I drew horrendous secondaries that I could never score, and my poor Ork boyz got slaughtered by the Triumph of Saint Katherine. Still, insanely fun game, and the Stompa exploding caused a lot of damage!

Whenever I'm VERY bored, I would consider installing Linux.

X years ago, I installed a Linux Mint on an old laptop, not because I was bored but to essentially salvage my parent's aging laptop. I don’t remember the exact problems now, but it was some drivers issues. Maybe times have changed, and got better now, but I still remember that one irritated day.

Since then, I've decided that when the times come that I really want to install a Linux, I will try dual-boot installation first.

Time flies, come to think of it, it's probably close to a decade that I attempted that installation on that (Win 7 iirc) machine.

My secondary machine would be on a much newer 2020 (iirc) Lenovo Ideapad.

I have some broken CSS. I changed the CSS used in the language documentation, and it looks OK with one exception: There is a horizontal scrollbar, and when I move it, it doesn't look good anymore.

I kinda suck at CSS, so I can't fix this. Is there some simple change that can be done to stop the horizontal scrollbar from appearing? (perhaps the method I used to put the menu on the left is wrong?)

Microsoft has patched bypasses for setting up Windows 11 without a Microsoft account. Previous methods like terminating a process or using a blocked email now loop back to account linking. Users can still bypass this via a command prompt trick.

Suddenly, I love my bloody government for listening to our complain on how pointless the mandatory "upgrade" is (which actually makes the whole process worse). Sure, they now have to spend more to maintain the old system, but how much they could have saved if they didn't try to replace the working system with an inferior version in the first place? Why fix something that isn't broke?
