In 2020, Swedish neuroscientists put 30 trans and 30 cis research subjects into a brain scanner and showed them pictures of their bodies. Then they showed them images where their body had been morphed to look more masculine or more feminine. The results support the natural order of gender identity.

@CStamp well, sure. But the point of this study is a catalyst in the right direction of refuting the bigoted belief that transgender identity is wrong, immoral, fake, a sickness, and whatever else is on the list. It’s not an absolute, but it is a positive finding.

My wife and I made some homemade gourmet ramen. The broth is veggie-based with coconut cream.

It was so delicious it hurt. I overate and am eagerly awaiting breakfast time so I can have more. 😂

@cynthiastreef I’m pretty sure it is. We never fully follow recipes, modifying them based on our taste and other variables. We based this one off of his creamy ramen recipe. The coconut cream mixed with the veggie stock is one of the keys. Also, my wife makes his chili oil, which we use for lots of stuff.

This is a sweet story that I never heard. Jimmy Carter hosted a jazz celebration at the White House. He requested that they play “Salt Peanuts.” Dizzy Gillespie agreed on the condition that Carter sing it. He did.

Every hashtag on every post on every platform should ALWAYS be pascal case (a.k.a. camel case). I made this to illustrate how screenreaders read hashtags depending on whether they are lowercase or pascal case.

It’s a small thing that all of us can do to build a more inclusive, accessible internet for all. Please take the time to use pascal case.

@EverydayMoggie that must be the specific app you’re using that’s forcing it. When I’m done typing my hashtag I tap the space bar and it ignores the autosuggestions. And I can achieve this in the various apps I use. Happy to troubleshoot with you since you’re trying. If you want to DM me we can talk through it.
