Batocera setup day 17.

I learned that is not really worth to deal with dedicated folders for source ports (Devilution X for Diablo, SDLPoP for Prince of Persia, GZDoom for idTech 1, etc.)

The system depends too much on flatpaks and those work whenever they want really lol

If any game or source port offers a direct linux port, move it to the ports folder, make a simple script so the system recognizes it on the menu & work from there. Stuff like Sonic 3 AIR, Cannonball for Outrun and CorsixTH for Theme Hospital just ran much better without dedicated folders. Not to mention, games like Katawa Shoujo, Megaman: Rock 'n Roll, and Arx Fatalis (w/Arx Libertatis) just ran with no major tinkering.

Heyooooo i did it! I beat Kid Icarus. I got the "meh" ending though. I missed one weapon and only had like 600 hearts. Oh well, the only thing that changes is Pit's size and a kiss from Palutena anyways.

Fun game! And the 3D Classics Remaster makes this game looks gorgeous. Very recommended to play it on the 3DS. It truly is the definitive version of Kid Icarus classic.

I swear there's a loud minority of insufferable #Doom fans that make me ashamed of liking #FPS games, and they're the ones that either just play Brutal Doom or Project Brutality or shitposting mods and think they're high art, and yet they still dare to call the Doom community wholesome.

The only thing that relieve me from that burden is that at least there's a bunch of modders that are getting recognition they deserve for their games and not for being transphobic or racist. However, even some of them are guilty of screwing over transwomen in the Doom community for their own benefit or out of fear of getting called out by that same loud minority.
