Built the #ADB to #USB adapter based on Matt Medsker's guide. Pretty easy and cheap, just a #Teensy 2.0, a female S-Video connector and a 1K resistor. Works like a charm!

Added a 3D printed case and label for looks. Now I just need to find a way to fit the huge #Apple Extended #Keyboard II on my narrow desk. #mac 😅

Oh my, almost let #caturday go by without a post!

This is Chatô (a play on the Portuguese word "Chato", meaning "Annoying"), a black stray that lives in the neighborhood. He comes to my house at least twice a day to ask for food, and is VERY sweet: loves belly rubs and to jump on the lap of anyone on the hammock.

Sadly, he is FELV positive, so I can't bring him inside with my other cats. So, at least for now, he is the "outside" cat. #catsofmastodon #blackcat

Finished watching "#Castlevania: Nocturne" on #Netflix yesterday. Amazing series, only "con" is the same from the previous one: they need to use more of the soundtrack from the games.

ONE track (on episode six) just isn't enough. I don't get it, Castlevania is renowned for the soundtrack, why not use it?

Loved the use of African mythology, shows that the catholics* are not the only ones intent on fighting evil. We need more of that!

25 years of the #iMac, my god! I remember reading about the launch, watching VERY grainy clips of the keynote, and thinking: "This is my next computer!".

Bought one as soon as they became available in Brazil, ~6 months after launch. When it was retired, it had been upgraded to 96 MB of RAM and a 40 GB HDD, running early versions of OS X.

Still have it, but sadly it doesn't work anymore since my cats dropped it from a table to the floor (CRT seems intact, at least).
