Re, my last post: If only there was an accessible Android chess app. Chessback and Chess moves are not supported with the current version of Android and there's nothing modern that's accessible for me to play Chess. I really wanna play mobile chess.

Anyone know how to access the phone settings on my ? Don't seem to be able to find the settings app on my apps list or home screen. Can't load it using Google assistant either because for some reason, Google assistant doesn't work so any ideas on how to load the settings manually? Thanks.

So let me get this straight… collects massive amounts of data, the platform is full of brands and celebrities, AND it uses an algorithm-driven feed. It tracks users, serves ads, and has quickly filled up, according to reports, with trolls, Nazis and the far right. Oh, and the site makes a shadow account for everyone with an Instagram profile, whether they want to participate or not. But still new users are flocking to the platform?? It’s a case of FOMO, and I don’t think it will last. F*ck Zuck and the corporate trojan horse he rode in on. Very disappointed in those I know who have bought the BS. That’s all I have to say on the matter.

Maybe this shouldn’t hurt so much, considering I don’t personally know 99% of these people, but when you have people in your life that don’t support your biggest dream and a group of total strangers do, it really hurts to just leave them. Then again, a lot of things hurt me that really shouldn’t.

Sit up straight. Turn your attention toward your breathing. Is it shallow? Are you breathing from the top part of your chest?

Take a couple of minutes to get those lungs moving. Breathe in for four counts and out for six. Make sure you breathe from your abdomen. Really pull that breath in then let it out with a sigh. Let those shoulders drop with the exhale.

After that, stretch, move around a bit, and get the blood flowing.

Would there be any interest in a voiceover tutorial app? Firstly, and most importantly, for iOS, but potentially also on watchOS and tvOS, and maybe even macOS, because the current voiceover tutorial is archaic. Please boost for a larger sample size!

I've downloaded a total of 1473 books using Bookshare since January 2011, when I was just 5 years old.

It's extremely amusing scrolling through this table. I downloaded hundreds of books (close to 1000) in those first 3 years, most of which were kids books. Many of them on the same day, probably because I used my speech super fast and also they just weren't challenging reads and I got bored. I then took a like, 6 month break, and then started downloading things like the Hunger Games and Maze Runner in late 2014. That lasted until April of 2017, where it totally stops again. Then, when I got my Victor Reader in December of 2018, it picks up again, but with mostly romance books. Primarily LGBTQ romance books. Well, all the lGBTQ romance that Bookshare offers. It's not much. Trust me. I've really looked.

@TheQuinbox Bookshare is great. If only I had an SD card so I could read them using my E-reader. I just wanna read books in Braille and while I love the Focus 40, the Braille doesn't feel as good as on this NLS thing even though it's less cells.

    @fireborn Can't say I've ever experienced any trickery of any sort and I've been using Windows since XP on a daily basis. If you don't update your stuff, it'll do it for you but I'd rather have that then the no doubt thousands of viruses you're exposed to by not doing it. Just keep your stuff updated regulary and things won't seem nearly as hostile as you're making them.

    @superblindman @pitermach What I want to know is whether we're actually able to choose our own car and track. Like, I hope it's full narration and not portions of it. Will we be able to mod our own cars and adjust things to make them better with modifications? Or are we stuck with the default options?

Like, will at very hard difficulty, the BDA will just not be functional or will we be able to play at the highest level of difficulty and still drive the car?

    @menelion And yeah, I'd likely embarrass myself somewhat since it's a new language and I'm more than likely to get things wrong. But I know Spanish so at least some words are similar. I certainly would like to get along just speaking French if I were to go since I already look like your average American and I definitely don't want to act like one in France.
