I got about 90% through Metroid Prime back when it released in 2002, but I never beat it.

I’ve been playing the remastered version over the past few weeks and DAMN is it still incredible!

Would have been cool if Apple sold a jumbo sized Apple Vision Pro battery - I would of picked that up versus just offering a duplicate of the smaller more “ergonomic” battery

The answer to the question of “What is the use case / why did you make for your 3rd party app?” Has to be more than simply “Because we can.”

There has to be a compelling reason for users to don this big piece of equipment, instead of simply pulling their phones out from their pocket, easily and quickly. If there isn’t then you’ve missed the point IMHO.

@gedeonm Sure but also for many myself included who want this to be a primary computer would also like the boring stuff so I can do everything here even if it isn’t some super wow 3D app - want both the new and the apps of old to let me do it all here

Well I have submitted a first visionOS TestFlight for PCalc. We'll see if that gets approved!

The build is pretty rough around the edges, but I think I can clean that up in the next few weeks to a shippable state.

Dice by PCalc is the more interesting app, but that is not going to happen in the next few weeks, and I think will wait until I have hardware (which I currently do not).

I find it incredibly hard to get excited about a $3500 computer that I can’t use for work without pairing it to a Mac anyway.

And given that Vision Pro doesn’t support any dual hand controllers, it’s useless for VR games as they currently exist.

Oh and the external battery doesn’t last long enough to watch a whole movie

But at least you can uh dictate emails

$149 isn’t crazy, but plus diopters (readers) and minus diopters cost the same to manufacturer why the hell aren’t all lenses $100 - also this is a distance vision device at 2 meters not sure who at 2 meters is using plus diopter lenses?!!
