This is an AnyTone 578UVIII PLUS. It's currently off. The activity light is blue. That's not ever described in the manual. That light goes cyan when receiving DMR, but not pure blue.
Furthermore, it only does this like a minute after I start the car. Only if the car has been idle for some time.
Does anyone have any idea what's going on here? This isn't documented, like, anywhere. It's one of those things where you search for it and it sounds like you're the only person in the world with the problem.
My old monitor died recently and I bought a #CRG9 to replace it. I have a #AMD#Radeon 6500XT, I run #Arch#Linux with #Xorg and #EXWM and the #Compton/#Picom compositor. I bought the monitor for productivity issues as I'm not much of a gamer, the only games I play these days are Tagpro, a simple capture-the-flag browser game, and Chess.
I'm still learning the tools in nicolaka/netshoot, but also need some #dotnet specific things.
I stumbled on the lightrun-platform/koolkits package for node, and I wish they had a #dotnet image -- anyone using anything better than the dotnet-monitor container?
@DJDarren
Check credential manager and see if you need to clear any saved passwords for this domain/location. Also try to access the share from the IP address and see if it makes a difference.
@bitwarden I had to recover my proton.me account because my 2FA that I saved with Bitwarden TOTP wasn't correct. When I tried adding TOTP again, it did not match with the code that proton.me was expecting. Any ideas why this is happening?
I have the ActivityPub plugin set up (for a while now), and everything appears to be correct, but my posts (regular posts & IndieBlocks 'Notes') are not being published to the profile (@blog)
I just replaced a keyboard in a ThinkPad T450 laptop. Some of the keys were not working. When I took the keyboard out to re-seat the connection and test it, I noticed there was some sticky residue likely from a liquid spill.
Replacing the keyboard with another used keyboard fixed the problem of some of the keys not working, so I isolated the problem to the keyboard part and not the ribbon cable connection or other cause.
Had to start up an old Pentium PC today. It worked for an hour or so but after a reboot all stopped working. The bord seems not to boot anymore, as if it would constantly be in reset mode. RAM and CPU are ok(tested). Bios postcode analyzer does not display any code, but reset LED is on all the time.
I dont want to accept the board being broken as it worked just fine.
Ideas on how to fix it are welcome. #troubleshooting #retrocomputing
So, my 2013 iMac crashed again. It froze while the screensaver was on. See attached screenshot of the crash report... Any idea what this means? Is it the graphics driver? The GPU on the CPU? Power supply issues? #macos#troubleshooting
Is there a good Windows utility to force change window sizes esp for games?
I have a super ultra wide monitor (32:9) and some windows force themselves to full resolution making 4:3 games nearly unplayable and they block my OBS/chat when I'm streaming.
#AnyTone D578 - the vehicle mobile version of the 878. Seems pretty nice, I think mine is just broken...
Doing a test on FM simplex with a nearby 878, the 578 produced a signal that was barely audible... and the 878s don't have that quiet of a speaker at full volume.
Doing that same test, the 578 was completely deaf to the 878's signal.
A test with the #TinySA showed that the 578 on turbo power was marginally weaker than an 878 on turbo power
Trying to test with a local repeater had no luck. Putting my 878 on reverse, showed a strong signal, but no audio - likely because it wasn't picking up the PL tone that I know was set correctly.
Testing against my DMR hotspot worked flawlessly. So this all seems to be on the analog FM side not the DMR side.
This is the exact same antenna and antenna position that has been used on that very 878 with very good results... so I don't think it's the problem.
Has anyone had a single positive vendor interaction recently?! Fighting a switch issue and the troubleshooting has been next to nothing while putting all the onus on us for replacement. Apparently, all 25 devices and their network cables may be the issue - but not the switch! Send help😂 #AllvendorsAreTrash#troubleshooting
