@design_law I love how it encourages me to scroll slowly and interact often. It feels so much more warm and less frantic than any other social media I’ve been a part of.
@design_law film.
I love how many smart people there are here. I learned to appreciate places like this because in school I regularly felt set apart for that.
@design_law I can see everything from my timeline, and nothing more !
I can scroll until I reach my last viewed toot, and I don't see any advertising, that's refreshing.

Being on a well-moderated instance, I love the fact that polite disagreement leads to understanding other people's viewpoints much more often than erupting into flame wars.
@design_law I like that I can take it apart and understand how it works under the hood. It's really engaging to understand how the servers gossip and stuff.
@design_law For the most part it seems like the grownups are in the majority. The live feed is pretty good and I've found a good post even though there is no way to keep up with a fire hose of folks writing stuff. Even the stuff I don't care for is easy to filter. It's not perfect, but these are elements I like in my very brief experience
@design_law it has all the good people from social media. All the jerks are on the other sites and they can have them. We will stay here, have fun, be nice, laugh, and be ourselveseses all 23.7 of them 😂
@design_law I love that when I post an Indigenous job opportunity it gets like 50 boosts in the first hour or so. People here seem to want to help and uplift.
