#ThanksEU. I will vote for the EU parliament on the 9th of June here in #Munich as registered voter in the German registry, even though I’m Dutch. No need to go to a Dutch embassy to vote. Also means I vote for the candidates on the German lists, which suits me even better :)
Tomorrow I will travel from #Munich to #Warsaw by train. Because I can. No need to fly. ICE from Munich to Berlin, Eurocity from Berlin to Warsaw. #CrossBorderRail
To the „but Linux is complicated“ and the (IMHO weird) new „being able to use Linux is a sign of privilege“ crowd: We just had #Girlsday in our #Munich#RedHat office with 20+ 10-12yr old girls that loved to explore the 10 XO (OLPC - One Laptop Per Child) from 2007(!) running Fedora and the Sugar UI we had them work with. No explanations needed. They had a blast.
@jwildeboer
I've been just talking about this with a friend from the US who now lives in Munich and told him about the German weather wisdom "April, April, der macht was er will" (April, April, does whatever it wants)
I felt old and corny saying that 😅
@jwildeboer
Yeah, the changes are definitely more extreme than I am used to.
40cm in March is wild! Although I have to say: I grew up in north Germany where 40cm would be unusual even in the middle of winter 😂
