If you want smooth #Fediverse traverse and self host, a #Pleroma based server is hands down your best option. If you want to host one for a small organisation, #Calckey. If you want to torture yourself with the complexity of setup go with #Mastodon but to save you grief, check out everything @darius does. This guy is a genius!
