I don't want to live in a country where Trump could be held accountable
Are we really the kind of county that allows 'evidence' to go before a 'grand jury' then lets that grand jury 'vote to indict' a former president?

2ndtryagain, I think some people are not aware this piece is satire.
lo-key, Thank you. I was very confused by the title and source
agamemnonymous, The last sentence is chilling:
And that, my liberal friends, makes perfect sense to me and my MAGA companions. So watch out. The Trump Train’s a comin’.
runningfromreddit, Unfortunately the folks who need to read and understand the point being made will never read it regardless.
borkcorkedforks, People can't really tell what is satire when actual conspiracy theories nutters get elected on being a nutter.
PabloDiscobar, Can we make it not USA by default? There is a entire world outside of the USA.
lo-key, This is an article from USATODAY.
Eggyhead, As an American living abroad, I agree. I’m a little tired of all these commonwealth people acting like they know more about the state of things in the US even though they’ve never actually set foot there.
starlinguk, Plenty of people who live outside the country (any country, really) know more about it than the people who live there because they've studied it instead of listening to the local propaganda.
Kierunkowy74, A far-right party, with anti-Ukrainian views may be a kingmaker in Poland after the next elections. Anyone interested in 2 months old piece on the Confederation?
Kierunkowy74,
parrot-party, An English site is going to default to news and politics that majorly come from that language. The US, UK, and Canada are the largest English first nations. Yes other nations/regions speak English but they are either tiny I'm comparison or they speak English as a secondary language. If you want French politics then you'll need to visit a French speaking site.
Trebach, How dare someone be held accountable for their actions!
mfzachary, Couldn’t make it through the whole article because I was laughing too hard. How dare the Justice system work the way that it’s supposed to. Lol!
confusedwiseman, I hope this is satire.
pasci_lei, @ed2417 is this satire?
pasci_lei, @ed2417 is this satire?
ed2417, It is satire.
iNeedScissors67, Solid satire
trent, lol, reminds me of the R Kelly Boondocks episode
Now some people see this so-called "mountain" of evidence, these "video tapes," "photographs," "eyewitnesses," and "DNA" and see a guilty man. But some of us see that "mountain" of so-called "evidence" for what it really is: racism.
keeb420, "We are a nation of law and order."
"I don't want to live in a country where they could hold Trump accountable."
pick one.
Bubkis, This is satire
Realtrain, I think the article is sarcastic.
CynAq, Some people prefer a country of law and hors d'oeuvre
binaryphile, This satire hits home because it really is the actual mindset in a nutshell. It's brazen, self-righteous, clueless, nonsensical and deeply-held. Sick, sick, sick.
deaconblue, Yes. Whoever posted this could be writing the scripts for Tucker Carlson. Maybe they are.
Kara, We used to be a proper country where presidents were above the law
Calcifer, The audacity to enforce laws like that
