54 and 10. I lived at 7 different addresses with my parents before the age of 16 (not always changing exactly by choice), and then since establishing my own residence, each place I've lived has been, at the time, the longest I've ever lived someplace.
@mrundkvist I’m 47 and have lived in 13 places, all before I was 30. I was homeless a year during high school and slept on a a couple of couches, so those are not included.
@mrundkvist My parents were not that young and had decent middle class jobs, but the interest rates around 1980 still made it very exciting to buy a new build row house.
@mrundkvist
I'm nearly certain I lived at more than nine addresses during my 4 years of university. (At the uni I went to, the dorms were expensive, and the waiting list was more than a year. I couldn't live with my parents or my grandparents, and rents in the area I lived in were rising as fast as an ICBM a second after liftoff.)
@mrundkvist I'm including college, since I was, technically, living. So, 40 and 17, which feels like a huge number given I'm not a military/diplomat child or anything. Kind of fascinating that 4 were in childhood and 3 after, and the remaining 10 were all in and around college and grad school!
