Husband tried to talk to registration desk. They said they’d been waiting for a room to open up because they’d been getting so many ambulances.
I would understand that if we didn’t live in a tiny city and we didn’t see 6-7 patients come in way after us with pretty minor issues and then get back out hours ago. The staff here’s just been hanging out gossiping
And they refused to tell us the triage fee that we’d have to pay it we would walk out
@mariyadelano did they ID you or otherwise get your data somehow? If they didn't, they have to catch you to bill you. So you can just walk and take the chances 🤷♀️
@mariyadelano OMG that sounds terrible (the process). I'm so glad to hear that things are looking up and it's (hopefully) nothing serious. The US healthcare system scares me like few other things, everytime I visit the US.

@mariyadelano My experience was very similar to yours. Many hours of waiting before finally getting a scan & told I didn't have a brain bleed. Took a couple of days for the nausea and tiredness to go away.
