@thelinuxcast Well on Windows my filesystem is a TOOOTAL mess of downloads, stuff my apps did, Windows being weird, etc. But on Linux, I try to regularly clean it up. My home directory now just has some random folders that I should probably delete after removing the related packages; otherwise, it's squeaky clean.

Yes 🤚. Except it's not 'my' home folder. It's the 'systems' home folder. I never use it, as it's a mess of unknown files from unknown apps. Even with files hidden.
I have to move all my folders to the Desktop folder, which is all mine.
Linux culture doesn't understand that a users space is a personal space, not to be stomped on by the OS.
