@juddlegum It will make no difference because the base doesn’t want Trump policies from a less compromised politician, they want Trump because he is vile.
DeSantis won’t replace Trump because he doesn’t dominate anyone, he can’t even bully Disney.
Privatized law enforcement means that more and more law enforcement is not enforced in a constitutional way but by private actors. The state tolerates such situations as it likes to delegate responsibility and hopes problems might be solved by others this way.

@juddlegum Didn't Google get somewhat in trouble with antitrust laws when it came out that they control results so you see websites favorable to them and their partners first? I feel like changing an algorithm so that your candidate choices and business choices are shown above others falls under that same category. But I doubt that the current House will look into it
