@RollingStone Pence should publicly refuse citing the fact that he may be a witness in Trump's trial. And then sit back and watch Trump to rant his way to criminal contempt.
But instead he'll probably just endorse Trump because debasement and public humiliation is his kink.
I wish republicans would stop repeating the stupid lie about democrats being radical. The country keeps having people in power who keep moving further to the right and not the other way around. If europeans see this post, consider yourselves blessed that you don't have a broken government that heavily feeds corporations without any repercussions. I recall some european countries actually do something about this. Nothing perfect, but that's not possible anyhow.
Trump wants his endorsement because Pence's brand is 'truth', or 'looking carefully the other way' as I prefer to think of it.
To endorse Trump he just needs to keep looking the other way and that would be reflected in his answers in court. Without that endorsement, his answers in court might be less circumspect
It not just that he lent himself to try to legitimize and elevate the tRump presidency. It’s the hypocrisy that was required to breach the gap between them. There could not have been a starker chasm in their morality and Pence sacrificed it all for an immoral, conscienceless, vulgar creature. There’s no quick redemption from that……so, seriously doubt there’s an endorsement coming.
