I have temporarily distracted @Menhit from mauling me by putting an eight hour video loop on the giant iMac monitor—video of a picnic table in a forest with birds flying in and out to eat bird seed. Had to unplug the keyboard to stop the cat from accidentally pausing it while trying to look over the back of the iMac to see where the noises were coming from.
Anyway: it stops her attacking me out of boredom, but I still can't work because she's using my work machine!
