I've honestly never seen so many people get upset over someone using a hashtag incorrectly ONE TIME!
Like, do you folks understand that we're all human and make mistakes, and those of you who report/limit people for using the wrong hashtag are human just like the person who used the wrong hashtag?
Like come on folks. You're supposed to be grown. Some of you are even admins/co-admins/mods of servers. Truly this isn't setting a get example, is it?
@SolusSpider Well, it didn't happen to me personally. It happened to my co-admin. I truly don't get people being so hateful over someone using the wrong hashtag literally ONE time.
Like I get if the person uses the hashtag incorrectly on a regular basis or multiple times. But to use it incorrectly ONCE you have to go and limit them?
Why not send them a DM or something similar and simply ask them to use it correctly or maybe educate them on how to use it or that they are using the wrong hashtag?
It's people like this that I want nothing to do with. It's also one person like this that can truly ruin an entire server/instance.
It's truly sad that it's like this because the other people that help run these instances are actually good people. But why let your co-admin ruin something so good? Maybe your co-admin is being a bit over dramatic or irrational or overboard or whatever other word(s) you'd like to use.
@hybridhavoc The FediBlock hashtag. Someone used it instead of using FediBlockMeta by accident. But it was literally ONE post and they caught tons of hell. Other admins/mods/co-admins talking about how they are making too much noise in that particular hashtag, when they themselves are making even more by stating those things.
@cliffwade LOL my admin queue on my instance is full of reports about me (the admin) posting cat photos. I apparently can't clear spam reports against myself, LOL. (Probably should file a bug about that).
