@jacqueline not in a traditional sense (born too late for that), but we went to computer clubs a lot with my friends after the school. technically, these computers were all on the same network and games were able to discover local servers, so you can kindaaaa count it as a LAN party, minus the annoying part of bringing anything with you :P
@jacqueline All-day and all-night Baldurs Gate + Jedi Academy + BF1942:DC ones with my small D&D group. Some hosted at my place in the back room, some at a friend's. So many power boards and trip-hazard cables and CRTs mixed with early LCDs (the latter of mine i still have because it's smol and convenient).
@jacqueline Apart from playing some Marathon in a mac lab in college (if that counts) a few times, a number of times at a friend's place in the years not long before the pandemic, which was specifically optimized for such things. Never in the traditional "lugged my desktop PC somewhere" sense.
